According to Dodecad World9 admixture I have no Native American but when I do the World9 by chromosome painting there's bits of Native all through my dna.
Are there any tests to determine which areas of North America this comes from?

East Asian or Native American
I have a very small amount of East Asian (Siberian in some tests), less than 1%. How can I determine if this is noise or if it's actually Mongolian or something like that or else North American Native. It shows up in several tests I have done such as with Dyodecad and Eurogenes etc.

New DIYDodecad Calculator (with Native American samples)
This seems to be a recurring topic on this forum, so the new 'world9' calculator Dienekes released for his DIYDodecad program should make some people happy. By popular demand, he made a worldwide calculator, which for the first time includes Australasian and Native American reference populations. Here...

Making sense of new Middle East on Population Finder vs. NA
Just discovered my Population Finder results have been updated. Now I'm confused.
My original results were straightforward, if a little dull :-)

I'd never heard the term "orcadian" until two days ago, when I finally got my PF results:
Europe Orcadian 100.00%

Determining Native American Ancestry
I understand that if you are a male, you can take either a Y or mtDNA test to determine if you have Native American ancestry and that this is determined by the haplogroup you are designated. For the Y-test if you are designated by haplogroup C or Q, then you have Native American ancestry. If you take...

Native American Ancestry
I get a lot of questions about DNA testing from people who want to know or confirm that they have Indian ancestors. Relying heavily on some excellent work by Roberta Estes, I created the following web page to summarize the DNA testing alterntives.
NOTE: I mistakenly posted this under...

American Indian admixture in White Americans
Hi,
I am looking for studies, statistics, census, historical cites, and particularly genetic studies about the degree of American Indian admixture in white americans. I am interested in white American-Native admixture only, because that was the dominant group that colonized the country,...
