Trying to understand
On my Chromosome #15 there are two matches that have almost the same 3 segments. These segments are:
start 57,471,117 end 66,876,869
start 67,995,199 end 78,694,359
start 79,392,533 end 85,708,618
Does this mean that for each segment there is a different...

What about those matches that only had the single gedcom. Some of those have been removed or do not appear. This could have been at the option of the customer. Regardless l would like to see them all back as they were before or in a different format.

Where have all the Gedcoms gone????
When ftdna upgraded their site and matches, can someone tell me why
their customers gedcom were not transferred automatically along with the other previously information given. It seems like in the near future this is going to cost extra to display these. Am l right or wrong? At the present...

Even adding a small grain of salt to a salt pile will eventually make the pile larger. In other words sifting a small amount of info from these remote matches do help in eventually solving the larger puzzle. I'm not saying that you will make a connection from these remote cousins but they sure do assist...

Common ancestor 14 generations back
My Y-Haplogroup is O1a2 (Taiwanese Aborigine). The results of the dna test informed another person and myself that we had common ancestors 14 generations back. The majority of people with this haplogroup originated from Taiwan. The other person can trace his ancestors back to India and mine to England....

No noise, no smoke, no fire
The remote connections that l previously had made do not exist now. Was it all an illusion, or trick of the hand or mind games? ? It seems to me that this company is running out of data space and are using this as an excuse to gain more space. What ever the reason please be straight up with your customers...

Ancestors Path
Another person and myself have been dna tested and the results show that 15 generations
back we had the same father probably from Taiwan because of the O1a2 haplogroup. It seems his ancestors went towards India and mine towards England. Is there any way that l can trace the path that my ancestors...

Longest Block
I just got a match with a person and the shared cM was 36.49 but the Longest Block was only 10.83. Normally with this large amount of cM I would have thought the Longest Block would have been at least 20.00 or larger. What does this mean or signifiy.

Is This Possible
I made a paper connection through my GG Grandfathers sister-----I thought it would have to be through my GG grandfather. Is this possible?? Or would this connection really be through their father or my GGG Grandfather.Confusing.

Multi Segments
In the Family Finder area sometimes the dna shows different numbers of segments. Does this mean that the person has dna from more then one relative. For example if I show 2
segments from my dna match would this mean I am a cousin to this person and also to that persons close relative.
