Autosomal Transfer - No data in Family Finder after results completed
On Saturday June 6 I ordered an autosomal transfer to transfer an aunt's AncestryDNA results to FTDNA so that I can compare with other kits I have here.
When I log in with her account number I do see a message that the processing is complete, however no match data is being shown.

I also received my BAM file on 4/17 and immediately submitted the link to YFull, and got the confirmation that I would receive a link to the results when they were completed.
After not hearing back from them, I contacted YFull and received a reply that the Y data in the BAM file fell FAR...Last edited by DeeTyler; 9 May 2014, 08:01 AM.

Just wondering ... has something changed in the forums, or is there a bug? It seems that I can see all of the posts even before I log in.

I just saw posted on the R1a-M458 project on Facebook that our results (along with one other) are part of what is turning into an "interesting Western subclade" of L1029. Very cool!!!!
I still have no clue who we are, but it's exciting to see this stuff happening! LOL

I don't mean to create a stir or an argument, but by the same token, I can go to Google and type in a surname, followed by "DNA project" (for example "Smith DNA Project" and get links to public pages that display information on the Y-results for that surname. So that information...

You might want to put in another request. The issue with download speeds will only continue to get worse as more and more people attempt to download those large files....

Bearing in mind that I am a relative rookie in all this, take this with a grain of salt. Based on what I see in my results and muddling through the various posts at Molgen, it appears as though we might fit in as another branch off of FG1228.
But beyond that I haven't a clue. 8-)

Thank you muso, I have been in frequent contact with Larry Mayka, who is also part of the R1a project (we're already there). He's got me covered and he has more than my blessings to use it to further the project knowledge. That was the main reason I ordered it. 8-)
