I used the button on the webpage, and got a reply the next day:

"Thank you for contacting FTDNA. I have submitted your request for a BAM file. You will receive an email once it becomes available."

they accepted my request oh 11/29, but I haven’t gotten anything yet

FTDNA should say something

FTDNA is not doing itself any favors by not saying about the status of the BIGY update. A little info would go a long way.

well, i guess, but the link I used is the link I have had in my bookmarks for 2+ years, that I used all the time to go to it, so my guess is he had both set up to point to the same place

so maybe it is a least a little relevant, or forgivable in a less harsh environment ................
