I had the same issue with a FF test for a relative years ago. There was not enough sample and hence no results. I still had to pay and this was when FF was a relatively new test and expensive.
If in doubt do not order the test.

They may have the tree to help phase their maternal and paternal line matches on FF. They might not actually have a family tree, they may just be connecting the "known match" relationship to themselves....

racinggirl, my brother had the same match, "TBD TBD" from " [email protected]" at a very good relationship level. Better than some of our known relatives. No one else in the family matches this person. (As we are not Americans we don't get many "good" matches.)

You can sort by Date. Click on the "Date" header. I cant remember if that brings up the oldest or the newest first. You may have to click Date again to change.

Nanaof3, when you say gmail, are you referring to the FTDNA Projects Bulk Mail? (gmail is a legit email account via goggle.)
You can email individual project members with their email address listed in the members information area. That is what I usually do.

Did you select the 37 marker level for the matches?
The default is set at 12, you have to select if you want 25, 37, 67 or 111.

When logged into your GAP page, scroll down to the bottom and click on Learning Centre.
Then you can click on Resources at the top of that page and click on Forums.
Its very confusing, as Forums does is not listed under Resources when your in the GAP page.
