I see some more SNPs have been added in the R tree. The placement of CTS7080 shows it as a brother clade to Z1 but it should be below Z343. Also, I tested negative for this in my Geno 2.0 results but it is not showing in my SNP results.

My results show 8% Asian Northeast and 3% Central/South Asian(Eurasian Heartland). Bering Expansion show 14%, my old Pop. Finder results showed just over 20% Native American. New Y-tree and Ysearch
When is Ysearch going to reflect the new Y hg tree? I was just on there to update my SNPs in my comment box and noticed that it was very behind on the haplogroups.

What about 5-Methylcytosine and 5-Hydroxymethylcytosine? Will they ever figure into genetic genealogy?

New Y-DNA 111
FTDNA is now offering an upgrade of 44 markers for those who have already tested 67.
If you have already done some Y-STRs from the Advanced Menu some of these are duplicates but there are 15 new STRs. If you are in a group project and already have 67 markers tested the upgrade is $101....

New mtHG T phylogeny
I just got an e-mail that the T FGS Project has been concluded and a new phylogeny for mt haplogroup T has been published! Here is a link to the paper. Thanks to David A. Pike, Terry J. Barton, Sjana L. Bauer and Elizabeth (Blake) Kipp for doing all of this.
Here is the new phylogeny...
