After 12 genertions, the Native American autosomal influence of one Native American ancestor would amount to less than 0.1%, assuming 50/50 splits in each generation. Probably not measurable with current technology.

I think that even 5 or 6 generations would "dilute out" and yield a non-measurable event with current technonogy.

If one has only one NA ancester, how many generations would be required to yield non-significant measurements in inheirted NA autosomal results?

Some people feel more comfortable dealing with myths, fiction and fantasy. Their brains don't have to work as hard. Science deals with facts and theories and one is pressed to think.
"Written oral history"....sounds like an oxymoron to me....

Well, I received my autosomal results,....sorta.... This is the Second time I have gotten results where one of the doublet values was missing. I've emailed them concerinng the missing value, but suspect I'll have to call them when I get back home later this week. Oh well,I think this says something...

I'm in batch 267 and I have received half of my results about two weeks early, so I guess it would depend on your specific tests.....

You can use "Quick Links" to make your changes since the "Control Panel" function has been broken for a year or so.

Probably still beats having to buy the equipment and run the test yourself. Sometimes things go smoothly and sometimes they don't. For the most part, I have had good success with them. Sorry that you haven't, but there are other companies out there also that would like your business. Good luck...
