I have only had 2 speculative results since I first took the test (even after my results went through the Illumina conversion back in February). All that has happened since then is that I will receive emails saying I have new FF matches, but when I log in there are never any new matches.

Dr. McDonald's analysis uses your Autosomal Results which you obtain by purchasing the Family Finder test, not the Y or mtDNA tests.

If they need to push back the date...fine. If so, I do wish they'd update the delivery estimation time to a future date. I just don't want to be in that "limbo" where your expected date of delivery is in the past and you still don't have the results.

I should note for people that order the mtDNA(FGS)...my wife's results were all delivered on the same day. HVR1, HVR2, and the CR; all posted on the same day and three email notifications sent to her for each section.
I had read previously tha some customers had received the HVR1 first,...

The Ancestry.com results just give you a single column called "MRCA" in your results list. In the column is a single number that is supposed to represent the MRCA generation value; no percentage is given (at least I don't see any on the results page or any link to send me to such informa...Last edited by kokeb; 17 May 2011, 01:57 PM.

Yes. Sorry, I didn't see that you were talking about Ancestry.com. The info I was asking for and providing is for FTDNA only.
As far as Ancestry.com's calculations... I posted my results and my father's results to their database and they have my father matching me at 4 generations...Last edited by kokeb; 17 May 2011, 01:37 PM.

To the far right of the matches name there should be a blue and orange icon. Click on it to open the FTDNATiP menu. This tool allows you to calculate the MRCA percentages....

When you open the FTDNATiP, what are the percetages listed for the MRCA between the two of you when you enter in that you do not share an ancestor in the last 6 generations?Last edited by kokeb; 17 May 2011, 12:21 PM.
