Huge difference in matches for mtDNA and Y-DNA?
I have tested on FTDNA several years ago. For mtDNA I have taken the FMS test and have eight genetic distance 0 matches none of which is on my known familytree. For Y-DNA I have only taken the 111 marker test. But even at the lowish 111 marker test, the closest matches are 9 steps to a man with the... -
And now they have once again market the mtDNA Full sequence test results to be further delayed to 07/23/2018 - 08/06/2018. An upgrade from my old sample, ordered March 31st. That is approaching FOUR months now which I find unacceptable. If they have a problem with the sample, they should contact me...Leave a comment:

Mine did too and as I contacted their support, they said that there had been an information glitch or bug or something. Pretty soon it was moved once again forwards....Leave a comment:

I think it is about 8 years. I have been wondering if they can still use the original sample, but I assume they'll contact me if that is not possible. Also, while ordering these upgrades, there has been no information about the original sample possibly not being sufficient....Leave a comment:
