Seems like there are mixed opinions on this topic. A poster above says that I shouldn't post because it's Facebook and too personal. Then other say it doesn't matter.
I'm split over this. I read someone had 2 friends unfriend them after she posted her results. Some people don't like racial...

I don't want family to think I'm TOO obsessed with the family tree. Then cousins that I know but aren't close with me might be (that I want to try to reconnect with) might think that I'm only trying to get together with them because I'm trying to use them for genealogy. Don't wanna scare them away.

Is it okay to post your DNA results on Facebook?
Would it be weird to share it with family and friends who are on your Facebook? Would it be TOO Personal? Would it look like you're too obsessed with race and your family tree?
I don't wanna come across as weird. And I could have some family that doesn't want to focus on family trees....

Can you just hire someone to complete your Tree?
I'm on the ancestry site. Is this forum also for ancestry? Been working on the tree for a while. Fun but exhausting and in the end, I have no idea if it's valid. You can only trust the documents so much. Haven't gotten my dna test results back. But when I do, is it possible to just hire an investigator...

Is it possible to have the same DNA as someone not related?
Can it say that you are a first cousin of someone even if you aren't cousins at all? I mean it can just happen based on luck right? You happen to randomly have the same code.

If you don't share DNA with a cousin are you not related?
Can someone explain how you are related to a cousin if you don't share a strand of DNA? Yes your parent might share a strand...
But for ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES, other than being in the family tree, aren't they basically almost the same as an inlaw or a spouse?
The ONLY...

Well could it say you're a quarter black and then 10 years later it says you're 10 percent black?...

So then that means that these results aren't 100 percent infallible?...

I don't know if I'm thinking about DNA, but I'm thinking about lineage. Last night I had a dream that I saw someone shoot someone. And I didn't want to be a part of it even though the shooter was the good guy. I ran down several blocks of grass and open hills with trees and I passed by all my different...

Is it possible for you to get different ethnicity results if you take the test again?
I'm just curious. I read that you can different results than a sibling. Now I'm curious if you take the test, if it's possible to get slightly different results if you take the test, say 10 years later. I don't understand DNA, but if your genes change overtime, can't your test results change? Like for...

Why is it I care more about finding relatives than friends?
I don't know what's gotten into me. Maybe I should just be grateful for the relatives I do have. I know people who have no family. But for reason I just have this obsession with wanting to know everyone who is related to me. And I want to make friends with anyone that's related to me. Of course that's...
