Batch 694

My FF batch 694 results have been posted. Happy with the quickness of this on the part of FTDNA, especially after the drawn out postal service dramas. Hopefully my y-37 results will also be ahead of schedule.

Although not yet batched my kit was finally marked as received at FTDNA today.

I guess the carrier pigeons must have been tired after crossing the Pacific but FTDNA have finally received my kit .

Hopefully it will get batched next week. Now my wait begins.

Getting discouraged

Still no reply to my customer support request this morning. I'll just take a "we are looking into it for you" at this stage.

I mailed my kit back Aug 2. USPS tracking records it as delivered Aug 25 but FTDNA still doesn't show that it has been received. Maybe USPS delivered it to a dumpster somewhere.

My DNA genealogy experience so far isn't what I was hoping...

I feel your pain Jim. The USPS - FTDNA relationship doesn't seem to be working that is for sure.

Cam - I sent a customer support request yesterday after you suggested it (using the customer support link at the top of this page, I hope they read them). No reply yet as of this morning.

TC - My account history still says Received by Lab - Pending. So seems it may be sitting in a postal...

According to USPS the kit was delivered last Thursday so it clearly would have missed the last batch. Hopefully it will make the list this week.
I'll just be glad to know they have my samples. I paid over $23 postage for tracking etc. Australia Post gave...

Hope it gets there before my DNA randomly mutates

This seems to be a recurring theme but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.

I mailed my kit back to FTDNA on Aug 2. It was scanned through the Melbourne less than 48 hours later.
Disappeared for ten days until...
