Family Finder results differing from Genographic results?
I'm wondering how often others have experienced this.
My father's DNA results from the Genographic project were transferred over to Family Finder and the FF results for Origins are fairly different.
Genographic: 74% Dutch, 26% Southern European
Family Finder: 51%...

A lot of possible scenarios could be considered. Perhaps the infant was a brother, nephew, or even cousin of William Hill, who was adopted off the record by the Thompsons. It would be great if you could get your hands on a birth or baptismal/Christening record....

This is looking like it might be possible with an ancestor on my paternal side. The final results for my father aren't in yet, but so far, his ethnicity isn't matching the "paper" trail. Cue an ethnic identity crisis.
