99% European, 91% East Euro and 8% Iberian, then 1% Finland......

MyOrigins changed drastically - thoughts??

As far as being sure via paper trail that son#1 and son#2 had the same father, no. The genealogical records I’d normally chase down are lost for the time period they were born in. I simplified the case a bit though in my original post, just for ease of explaining. The Lutheran mother actually very...

Is it possible not to have inherited...
A Lutheran peasant woman born in 1842 had 3 illegitimate children with an unknown father, two boys and a girl. I have tested 6 of their descendants – 1 from the daughter(AS), 2 from son #1(IA and KA) and 3 from son #2 (EA, RL, JO), including myself. All testees, excluding myself (RL) are great grandchildren...

Thanks Mr. W! I was hoping for more clues on that Italian orphan ancestor too, but only one match is of obvious Italian ancestry...

Holy crow I almost forgot about my post at Ukraine.com. I guess I'd better go back and read. Krystyna could be from anywhere, all I have on her is her name on her sons marriage record. She was having children in 1890 in Ukraine, so maybe born 1850-1870 as a rough time frame. Ive been mostly wrapped...

Its possible, I'm stuck at 1890 genealogically. it would be before that time period... Surnames are Koszlak, Fink, Bruchanska and Rozdobudko. They all seem fairly Ukrainian/Polish.. But the area changed hands a lot through history...

Admixture Interpretation
My father was adopted. I have myself and my mother tested so far, and I've been looking for some answers in my admixture...
My dad is said to come from a half Ukrainian(Galicia), half French Canadian father, and a half Italian (Venice), half French Canadian mother.
Most of my matches...

Ugh.. Over a month from original given due date. Its a really disappointing feeling to keep getting these delay messages.. Why dont they just give a realistic due date the first time around?? I've only had one test complete at the time first predicted.
Seems like a couple batches are backed up......

I don't know why I always let myself get excited about the earliest posted date... *sigh*

How would you interpret...
My mother's closest autosomal match that is not a known relative is an estimated 3rd-5th cousin. Of all my mother's matches, this person shares none in common, no significant segments with anyone else, nothing. Just a big old chunk of chromosome 16 (18cM) and 8 other little bits of segments 3cM and...

Oh no don't say the D word! (Delay)
I'm in batch 635, due 9/2-9/16... but I doubt I'll get mine before you get yours!
I find that occasionally the delay message will appear about halfway through your expected completion range, only for the results to be posted a few days later. For Family...

No USPS tracking number... just dumped it in the mail here in Canada!
But.... Hooray! It arrived today... there I go, jumping the gun again!
Still, I know it doesn't take 2 weeks (July 29-Aug 12) to mail to Texas from here!
Now... I thought I was impatient for that milestone......
