What can be shared between Project members

How I do Grouping

I use the Genetic Distance tool on the Gap page to see who the member's matches are and what group they are in. I then slot that member in the group with the most matches.

Unfortunately, I have to go to another Gap page, like "Y DNA Results "...

Safari on iPad was the problem



I discovered that if I logged in using a different browser like Chrome that the quoted problem disappeared. Other Administrators may want to let their members know this via a pinned post on your project activity feed....

It's not feasible to compare the multitude of SNPs by eye and there is no tool to do it.

I Can't post to Activity Feed in MyGroup and the links I created are gone. I reported this to Customer Support 3-4 weeks ago and still unfixed.this makes the site useless other than to view the data.

.....in not be able to post. Funny, I posted before with my iPad. I believe they changed the version of MyGroups activity feed and now I can post. Also they lost all the links I had created.

For a female customer, does FTDNA show the matches associated with both her maternal line and her father's maternal line? Or is it just from her maternal line?

Daily Posting of Coupons by Administrators ....

....will be too onerous for many of us. FTDNA should at least use weekly coupons or as someone else recommend they should make the coupons available on each members home page and not enlist us to do their selling.

I'm happy with my Heritage..!

I've dealt with myHeritage for 7-8 years . They are a good company and helpful. Their smart matches is an excellent tool as is their offline Family Tree builder that synchronizes with your online tree if you want it to.

They offer free family...
