Batch 599 Y37 to Y67 upgrade results came in sometime today. Yay!

9 matches all at a genetic distance of 7. Not really what I was hoping for.

If batch 599 Y upgrades (38-67) aren't done, I'm guessing your results aren't going to be done in that new timeline.

The stuff I'm waiting for was an upgrade using an existing sample that had no troubles the first time.

Wow, that's a lot of tests. Do you do this professionally, or is that family and friends? I can't imagine all the good info one would get with 51 relatives. <envy>

599 still waiting

I'm surprised they haven't revised the date for batch 601. I'm waiting on a Y67 upgrade from Y37 in batch 599 and the dates are now a range of 2/11 - 2/25. It had an earlier date range, but switched the day before the last day in the range.

FTDNA should really start giving out more likely wait times at the time of purchase.

Here's what I see

Dad - Batched 12/4 batch 599 markers 38-67 2-4 weeks.

Distant cousin - Batched 10/16 batch 592. 1-12 were showing as 1-3 weeks a few days ago and now says 5-7 weeks. 13-67 markers were showing as 1-2 weeks a few days ago and now says 3-5 weeks.

I transferred over my father's DNA from Ancestry and added on a bit to bring my father up to Y-37.

He's been showing matches at Y-37 with a distance of 2, 3, 4 for months.

However, he had no matches at Y-12 or Y-25 levels. No one showed up at all at any level.

The poor guy is really freaked out. This is the sort of error that just shouldn't happen.

Surely a check could be put in place for something like this.

A guy friend of mine recently received his FF results and was shocked to see a woman listed as a parent/child level match. He has 45 pages of matches and there is just one person he matches that she is not ICW.

She's showing as sharing 3384 cM, and an X match.

I was considering ordering an upgrade of the Y-dna, but frankly, I'm really having my doubts.
