Hello,

My MtDNA results gave me an African origin (L3e), but the Family Finder test gave me European origins (94%) and Middle East (6%).

Are these results in conflict, or do the two tests cover different time periods? What time periods do these tests cover?

Any suggestions as to how this sub-clade might have got from Chad to the UK? From what I have read, this sub-clade probably originated in Chad and is not found in afro-americans, which suggests that my ancestor was not a slave that was transported via the Atlantic Slave trade. Could there be connection...
