Yes, a rare occurance but is sure to happen more as more peoples unnamed variants get matched to new testers.

Based on the feedback above from prarielad & bhemph, I think I have the answer.
It is :- there isn't a way that phyloequivalent SNPs can be date sequenced.
This is because, up and until a new branch emerges that comes from one of the SNPs in the phyloequivalet cluster there...Last edited by dsm; 3 July 2019, 07:41 PM.

Hi,
Thanks for your added information. Yes they are phyloequivalents. To explain to other readers, this means that because there is no 'known' branching between the SNPs in question (i.e. in any phyloequivalent cluster), they 'can' be used to name a single phyloequvalent location. *in a...Last edited by dsm; 3 July 2019, 02:40 AM.

Thanks for having a go at an answer but if you pick any of them in a 'more' window list as well as the name of the SNP on the line being looked at, and check YBrowse.org you will find they are *not* the same mutation. For example try checking CTS4528 and DF100 they are at completely different locations...

How do we interpret SNPs that show in a 'more' window on the Haplotree & SNPs page
What I am seeking clarity on is how we should interpret the SNPs that show up in window opened when we click on the 'more' label in our tree as displayed under 'Haplotree & SNPs'.
Specifically, are the SNPs in the 'more' window to be interpreted as sequentially (in time history) to...

Dr M Hammers 2015 Slides extracted to a PDF
Dr M Hammers presentation to the 11th FTDNA Conference (13-15 Nov 2015) is so important our project chose to extract each slide, format it with the associated comments and convert this into an easy to access PDF document.

Thanks all - I now have the story.
Also I had been saying to people to consider 12-marker test + BigY but I see that 12-marker test is now gone.
The min appears to be 37-marker or 67-marker or 111-marker. https://www.familytreedna.com/y-dna-compare.aspx?
So my...

Susan,
Thanks for the update - the person isn't actually going to take the BigY based on its cost but when they said it had gone I tried to locate it to see if this was true. Not being able to find it listed anywhere (logged in or not logged in), I posted here re its status.

Need update re BigY - is it still avail ?
A proj member contacted me re what tests to take & I suggested BigY as a deep diving SNP test, they replied it is 'no longer available' ? - I then went to ftDNA web site & looked for it but can't find it there - just 3 STR Y tests !.
Can someone assure me BigY is still available...

Solution adopted
Thanks everyone for the suggestions & comments.
What I did was to create a new sub-group and named it with the particular SNPs as follows
sub-group 4
CTS4528+ DF100+ Assumed (based on parent STRs(12) matching)
I coloured...

A member wants his son's ....
A member of a group I manage has asked if his son's kit (not yet validated for our project SNP) added into the fully tested sub-group that the father has (the father got his positive results 2 days ago).
He asked for this based on 'by association'. I would like to oblige but commonsense...

YFull contradicts Big-Y displayed result for L151
Just got access to the YFull.org analysis of Big-Y for kit 249898. YFull says L151 is +ve (ftDNA login SNP charts says L151 is -ve).
So YFull seem to agree with Natgeno2's analysis (uncle's kit N115374).
Question...
