Autosomal Transfer trouble
Has there been a recent change to accepting transfers from Ancestry.com? My MIL just tested at Ancestry and we are trying to transfer her results. I have downloaded them twice and not moved, opened or renamed the zip file. When I try and transfer I get an error message that the results are corrupted... -

The matches are set to the entire database and Yes, the release has been signed.
In the matches and notifications setting Yes is marked for "all matches" and for all the Y-DNA levels.

No Matches at any Level
My husband did the Y-37 test 2 years ago. He still has ZERO matches at any level. Not just no good matches but no matches at all. His haplogroup is R-M 198 and we believe his paternal line is possible German.
Could this be right? Is there any way to get FTDNA to run the test again without... -

I just got my husband's Y-37 test back and he has zero matches at any level. I wasn't sure if they just sent me the notice too early and the test has not finished processing or this is a real possibility of no matches, even distant ones. His last name is Stevens and Haplogroup...Leave a comment:

I requested to start a surname project and got no response for about a month. I had some e-mail issues for a day during that time so I did the request again but still no response. How long does it take? Will they communicate a denial or only an approval?
