Uploading a 4 generation gedcom says it worked but it didn't. So I don't know what is wrong.
It said uploading this file will delete current tree, I said ok, then uploaded again and it does not show up.

I need step by step instructions I guess. Please anyone?

I have done this before for some of my test people but I am now trying to add a couple of new gedcoms for people already tested but it keeps hanging up.

I click on upload gedcom, which then says it will delete any current tree, which at this time is just the home persons name. I then click...

Sorry. They both had the Y-DNA67 test. And show each other as matches.

Hi, I am the mother of two sons and know for absolutely sure that they both have the same father.

So why does one show E-L117 and the other, E-M35? And they have a genetic distance of 1??

Can this be ok, or do they need to retest?

mtDNA

Well first I submitted a yDNA test in my brother's name then at a later time I ordered a mtDNA test for our mother under his name/account. Therefore it just shows up as his mtDNA and would like it to be separate under her name.

I administer my brother's account and had our mother's mtDNA test put on his account. Can I move it to a separate account under her name so that the rest of the siblings can use. it?

but when I come to check, I don't see any new matches, just the same ones I had before. What do I need to do to see the new matches?

I understand my son's most distant paternal ancestor. But for the most distant maternal ancestor, do I enter my (me, his mother) father's most distant line or my mother's most distant paternal or maternal ancestor?

I tried to upload a gedcom file but it wanted me to click on the name of the person who was associated with the test it. But I had privatized living persons when I generated the report. Therefore, he didn't show up.

Should I not privatize my gedcom before uploading it? And can I rest...

I guess this is going to take a lot of studying. I am disappointed to see the mentions of 100's of generations. I'm just trying to find generation number 6 on my father's side.

Can anyone explain to me how close the other person would be to my line. There is only one number that is different.
