I was just informed from FTDNA that the data interface will be down till at least March 21, 2018 as they make upgrades at FTDNA.

Does any know how long the link between FTDNA and WorldFamilies.net is going to be down? It just says while FTDNA is updating the interface.

Does anybody know if FTDNA has changed their weekly batch day to Monday? Have they started batching more then once a week? The last batch (658) was batched on Monday Jan 11th for a couple of kits in my project.

When I look at the results pages for all of the suggested projects from FTDNA, my last name is in the list of surnames that the project covers or there are members in the project with my last name.

Batch 639 Delay

This single SNP test just got bumped to 1/6/2016 to 1/20/2016. This is getting ridiculous, it was ordered way before any holiday sale issues (9/2/2015). This is looking like the last time we had a kit tested for this SNP, it took 6 months for results.

S1930 or S1920?

The 'S' SNPs were named from the Britaindna.com testing. You can do a quick google search for 'SNP S1920 or S1930' to find some results but there is not much out there.

So my situation is Father and 2 Sons.

Father tested to 111 1575 exact matches at 12 markers.
Son#1 tested to 67 1027 exact matches at 12 markers.
Son#2 tested to 111 1297 exact matches at 12 markers.

I am not sure about the website public settings but I recently had to call FTDNA and have them manually re-run the YDNA Haplogroup assignment on several kits that were not showing the correct results due to individual SNPs that were tested. It only takes about 1 minute or less per kit. This also updated...

Batch 639 Delay

Test has been delayed for the 4th or 5th time with no explanation. It is now expected 12/23/2015 to 1/06/2015. I guess it is time to call FTDNA

I have a project member who ordered a single SNP in this batch and has been extended numerous times now. The new expected result dates are 12/9/2015 to 12/23/2015. So far no explanation or response to inquiries.

I don't think I am blacklisted as I still receive result and matching notices from FTDNA unless they are using a different system to send emails to the admins.

I also did not receive any email about this update. I am an Admin to one project and a Co-Admin to another. I would have liked to have sent out information to my projects about this but didn't find out about till after it was done.

Darren is the only that monitors the forums from FTDNA. Your best bet is to either file a online trouble ticket or to call them. If you file a online trouble ticket it could take 5-10 days for them to get back to you (from my experience)....
