FTDNA appears to have a 500 SNP minimum for an x segment and gedmatch a 200 SNP minimium. I compared a couple of matches on both and that would appear to account for all or most of the difference....

Download matches from the chromosome browser to a spreadsheet. You can do more than 5 at a time so it is tedious, but then it is done. You then only have to add new matches to the spreadsheet.

Steps??? Family Finder doesn't have steps. I'm assuming that by "workable" you mean the match had trees or perhaps there was a surname in common. I'm finding almost all my matches have at least small clues that might be helpful. Don't just skip those without trees or long surname lists...

Try doing the contacting yourself. I usually get a response when I initiate email contact. I've only had one person email me first and that was to ask why I'd marked them "distant cousin". Also don't get too concerned about lack of surnames or trees. Often you'll get that information after...

The 26-37 panel failed and has a new date of Aug. 26. The batch 523 FF on the same kit came in last week, so we were ahead on one and behind on the other. That's ok as the dates are just estimates.
