Casey Predictor
I have just used the Casey Predictor to get an idea of which sub-group i might belong, after entering my Y-String numbers i got these predictions, now consider that i have already tested positive for M-222+, the predictor rated me at a probability of testing positive at 60%, however it rates me as 70%...

DYS-464
This may be obvious to others however not to me my DYS-464 value is 15-15-15-16-16-16.
I have joined a number of projects but nobody matches on this marker, a google search has led me to believe that this marker is more common to the Russian Steppes possibly in the area between Georgia and the...

The Great Mixing Pot of Life
Imagine your great Grand Parents each had 12 Brothers and Sisters, and some of them Immigrated to North America, some to South America and maybe one went to Australia and they all married and had children and their children married and had children and so...

SNP's
I am a R-M269 (R1b1a2), but most of my 67 marker matches are R-M222, should i test for the R-M222 SNP and are there any other SNP's i should consider testing.
Before you ask i cannot afford the Big Y test as much as i would like to get it.

Yes i was looking for a Y match, i tested to level 67 and this is where it gets tricky, she had a full MTDNA test.
and i expected that at the very least there would be a autosomal match, but not so, i was hoping to compare the two sets of strings but cannot do apparently

searching database
My 2nd cousin and i have both tested but do not match at all, OK so that happens, there may perhaps be a surprise for one or both of us, and that's OK too, i have both Kit numbers but cannot work out how to compare the two, any advice would be helpful.

better option
FTDNA might have done better if they had come to some reciprocal agreement with one of the family tree services already operating, for example Ancestry.com, Geni.com or My Heritage.com, while i realize these sites need a payment for people to enjoy their full benefits you...

This seems to be a common thread of inquiry running throughout the forums, common FTDNA get your act together.

A sticky question that can pose a great deal of angst for many, this is not well understood by FTDNA, this angst can be terrifying for some, but as has been said, give it time at least 3 months my wife and her father did not show as a match for two months, my cousin and i have never shown as a match...

Cousin does not match
Hi, my cousin and i have both submitted full DNA tests but we do not match, since she is female and i am male i expected she would show up in Family Finder, we are both descended from a common ancestor 3 generations back through 2 of his sons, apart from the fact that one of us may not be who we think...

Research Australia
Hi Bolinao, like you i have become stuck from time to time on the paper trail, the Bdm's in Australia are very good in general for tracing Australian Families often though when there is no record you have another recourse in History books written by local community...

I beg to differ, i am unable to upload my family tree, i had to produce a new bloodline tree that only included a direct Paternal and Maternal line and only back 9 generations as the site will only except files to a limited parameter, my tree contains over 100,000 individuals that tree would enable...
