THANK YOU so much! I knew that something wasn't right. The thing is, I wonder...are there other matches I (or others) are missing? If this cousin had not had her kit loaded at Gedmatch, I would not have questioned it.
This is important to me because this cousin matches both my paternal...

Thank you JSW. But would conversion from 36 to 37 lose TWO cMs?For instance this match shows at Ftdna as 5th to remote; 26.82 total cM, longest segment is 8.12 cM. He is called as a match here, yet at Gedmatch, he has only 27.3, with longest segment of 7cM, and MRCA 7.5.
So by that argument,...

Thanks! But the match is beyond the criteria given to you as an answer. Shared total of 37.9 cM, largest cM 10.1, 4.3 gen to MRCA. Looking at the autosomal comparison, they share 2 segments on ch 18: 7.8 cM and 9.8 cM.
This is not enough for Ftdna to call a match? Am I misunderstanding...

Kit match at Gedmatch but not Ftdna?
I was one of those whose kits had a problem mutually displaying new matches. It seems to be fixed as of today. But I still have a problem with a kit I manage not matching someone who is shown as a fairly close match at Gedmatch. This person recently had her kit her completed, so it is not loaded at...

Elise, I just sent you a pm with kit #s that have the same problem Timothy Petersen described.

I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude but YOU don't even know who you are. That is why you are participating in dna. And you won't ever know who you are without the co-operation of those who match you. If everyone felt the same way that you do about sharing your dna data, there would be no reason for anyone...

Well I doubt this applies to your problem but I will share my "Duh" moment anyway just in case...I put a surname into the Surname box to quickly bring up a match I wanted to investigate. When I tried to triangulate with In Commons, I got nothing. Made no sense because I knew he also matched...

Well I'm confused. My last batch dated 10/4 and 10/5 have become 10/9. So that's okay, but I don't see any new ones yet my totals have gone up by 28. I compared to my last Excel download on 10/22 and had 513 matches. My chromosome browser says I now have 541, yet I can't see any new ones.

Well, if this is the case, could somebody give me some pointers as to how I can see who my new matches are? I manage 5 kits and I have 55 pages of matches for mine, and many more for some of the other kits. Do I just have to go page by page and try to remember if a name is familiar and is an older match?...

It's a huge issue if you are unable to see which are your newest matches. I have 55 pages and they ALL had October 2013 match dates.
They did do something because my close and immediate matches which had a date of 10/22/13 are now reset back to their original match dates in 2012. However,...

Am I the only one with this trouble?
Since the FF was changed, I cannot use it on my Mac using Safari. It freezes and locks up and the only way out is to force-close the page, then I have to sign in again and the same thing happens whenever I try to do anything. For instance, if I try to order my matches by shared cM or match date, it...

I don't mean to change the subject, but I am having a terrible time in the new FF pages. The new page crashes my browser every time. I have been trying to get around since yesterday, and after a few triangulation and chromosome comparisons, the browser locks up and I have to completely shut down Safari....
