I've had Mc Donald do both of ours too. The one I posted was FTDNA. Mc Donald had "French" for both of us with Mayan. There are definite Middle Eastern segments in our Graphs too but he didn't explain what that was from. Basically its a lot of red with large blocks of Green(AI) Pink (ME)...

I did the same thing and didn't really know what P1 and M1 were. I had an idea Paternal/Maternal BUT I only uploaded me and my father so how could it generate a M1 file without my mothers autosomal file? Reason I have doubt is when I look at the admix for the M1 file it's clearly nothing to do with...

Youre seeing them mixed up like that because my dad is Spanish Sephardic (ME) Jewish mixed with AmerIndian from Costa Rica/Caribbean. I think the right side is my father and the left my mother. OH boy if you are right this may confirm something about my mothers side that I've been trying to figure out. I have all of her lines on her fathers side Binfords/Annesleys going back very far, to before the battle of Hastings. Those are both Norman familys and I have their documentation.

From personal experience he has acknowledged all of mine including French and my Jewish Middle eastern with the other maps and group breakdowns he sends with all the chromosome painting.
