FTDNA has a list of reference populations. I have been tested 100% Malay with an error margin of 0,02% (seems quite accurate to me). I know that Indonesia for example also have Javanese, Balinese, etc. as population, which are not on the FTDNA list.
What if I am actually Javanese/Balinse,...

Haplogroup B7 distribution frequencies
I just received my mtDNA Haplogroup which is B7. There seems to be no much information on this Haplogroup. I am just curious what the distribution frequencies are. I am adopted from Indonesia - so hopefully B7 refers somehow to Indonesia....

Well, I already received my Y-DNA haplogroup.......

Yes, I know...what I am trying to say is:
Suppose, according to the Y-DNA test My Haplogroup indicates that my great great.....great grandfather comes somewhere form the northern areas of Asia (Japan, Korea, etc.).
PF indicates that I belong for 100% to the Malay population...

My Haplogroups are determined right now. As the PF tells me that I am 100%Malay, does this mean that both my Y-DNA and mtDNA haplogroups must belong to the same Malay population

100% Malay
According to the PF, I belong for 100% to the malay population with an error margin of +-0.02%. Anyone else belonging for this much to the Malay population? I was born in Indonesia but I grew up in Holland (I am an adoptee)

I joined the Chinese project group. Although my Haplogroup type is currently being tested by Backbone testing, I can see in the project page that they already put me in the O2 (P31+ Probable M95+) group.
Is it possible that O2 (P31+ Probable M95+) is expected but a Backbone test is required...

I tried to predict my Haplogroup using the Athey's predictor. However, not quite sure whether the outcome makes sence. It gave a probability of 100% for Haplogroup Q.
In the Area Selection there is no possibility to select for example Africa, Asia or America...does that make sense....

Thanks everyone for the responses. One more question. I can already see that there is some result in the family finder. The population finder shows 100% Malaysian (which might be true :-)) - is that just a default map? I haven't had the family finder results yet so I was quite surprised to see the map...

No matches/haplogroup for Y-DNA 11 marker test
Just received my Y-DNA 11 marker tests. However, I can not see any matchtes or even my Haplogroup.
Noticed that in the FAQ section, one can change the setting in order to be linked with the entire database:
I can't find this section: I want my matches to be set against...
