Are the Big Y SNPs available for sale individually? If one person in a project tests, will others be able to purchase individual SNPs, or will it require multiple Big Y tests to determine commonalities?
Thanks!

Gap global e-mail notification
It would be nice if we could have a notification on our GAP page when any of the kits we manage have a message. I often don't log into a particular kit for weeks and I miss messages.

Predictions
Are predictions in yet on the y12. I can't order SNPs and I am wondering if this is because predictions aren't yet finished.

Batch 508
Two y12's. Very excited about the new pricing policy and rapid results I have been reading about. Hope it helps build up the database!

Ok. So assuming you have purchased the following.
a -FMS
b - FF
c - yDNA - 111 marker, and
d - Individual SNPs offered by FTDNA as far down the tree as you can go.
Is there any reason to purchase Geno 2.0?...

How about an ability to save names/kits that we are constantly comparing to. So there should be a drop-down of the 20 most recent names and/or 20 "favorites"

Thanks Linda for your thoughts. In reading articles about the CMH (Cohen Modal Haplotype) I found it interesting that the STR values are very similar in the J1 and J2 Cohanim. This seems to suggest the possibility of the Clade split (J1 and J2) somehow coming after the strs. To take this approach...

I am unable to do a search on SMGF. Does anyone know if there is any chance of the yDNA values being moved to ySearch? Is Ancestry making them available? Thanks

DNA and Creationism
Here is something I have been thinking about. For those of us who take the biblical genealogies literally there are only 40 or so generations from Adam till King David, and then say another 150 generations until today? So how in the world did all these Haplogroups and subclades develop? It seems...

Here is my theory on that. 23 and me is now promising results in 2-3 weeks. https://www.23andme.com/howitworks2/
FTDNA probably decided a few weeks ago that they need to speed up turn-around. They tried it for a few weeks and saw that they can deliver in 3 weeks so now they are bringing...
