Hello, Ron. It's possible you could benefit from sub-clade testing. Our brother's results were mystifying at first until a very helpful administrator from an FTDNA Y-DNA project found us and recommended sub-clade testing in his project.
Turns out we are members of a group of basically...

Gedmatch and FTDNA feuding
Is there already a thread for this issue? I can delete this if there is. (I apologize, but I am dyslexic and don't have the vision to go hunting for it.)
I just went to give someone our FT accounts to check out at Gedmatch, and I'd hate to think we aren't going to have that resource anymore....Last edited by Wilma Wildcat; 18 March 2016, 06:27 PM.

Oh, yeah, he does say UNzipped; thanks. Gedmatch wanted them zipped.
Ok, assuming I do that; as I said, do you just add each following chromosome results to the same document to build the file? Are they text format?
And right, at Gedmatch I run each of us separately -- and...

Ok, I'm at David Pike's link; I made a dummy file for Dad, entered Mom and the kids' zipped raw data files; and it's not working. It never finishes; just keeps trying.

My mom, brother and sister are all 100% European in My Origins. I'm 98% European and 2% Central Asian.
Dad died in 1988, so I don't know his makeup.
Earlier, FTDNA used to place a banner at the top of Mom's results, indicating they determined she had considerable Jewish...Last edited by Wilma Wildcat; 24 December 2014, 11:44 PM.

It just dawned on me that perhaps you have not clicked the links taking you to the results page, where all your fellow members have their results. Is that the case? Because that is the reason I go to our project -- not for the overview page, for sure. But I have to go through the overview page to...

I've gone into the abyss and come out the other side (ordered everything there is for all my family and got them addicted, too).
Unless there are some new tests...?

(Edit: oops this thread was moving fast; I was replying to a post on the first page, and by the time I got it written, we were here on the third page...)
George I was House of Hanover (Germany), which succeeded the Stewarts.
I got an email a few months ago from a researcher...Last edited by Wilma Wildcat; 19 June 2013, 09:54 PM.
