  • D GROUP enquiry - Possible relation to Massachusetts lines

Posted on behalf of Marcia Field (marcfield@verizon.net) ....

    Dear D GROUP members,

It seems that some of the D GROUP members share my early Bruce ancestors.
I have been told that my Bruces emigrated from Scotland and am hoping that
one or more of you can help me make that connection.
I have obtained the dates for the Woburn families through the Woburn, MA
Vital Records, but as you can see am missing quite a bit of information.
Perhaps some of you will have that information through your family records.

I would be more than happy to share any records that I possess.
I can be contacted by email at marcfield@verizon.net

I look forward to hearing from you.
    Marcia Field

    My lineage is as follows:

    George Bruce d. 1692
William Bruce b. 1667 m. Eliz. Cummings and had 9 children in Woburn
Their 3rd child John Bruce b. 9 Nov. 1698; d. after 1764; married Martha Carter in Woburn
    Timothy Bruce b. 1731
    Timothy Bruce b. 1752
Timothy Wheeler Bruce b. 1801 Bolton, Worcester, MA
My line descends from this Timothy’s sister Sophia Bruce (b. 1799) who died
    in Concord, MA in 1860
