I did the autosomal transfer from 23andMe to FTDNA. I was identified as L21 (R1b1b2a1a2f*) on 23andMe and my paternal lineage goes back to Hesse, Germany. Can I join the project, or is it necessary to have taken one of the FTDNA y-haplogroup tests?
