  • CTS6364, CTS10028 & L22

Many persons have tested CTS6364 and various combinations of downstream SNPs including CTS10028 and L22.

In the FTDNA public database for hap. I1 are 92 persons who have tested CTS6364. Of these, 38 were negative and 3 only tested CTS6364 and nothing else. The remaining 51 were CTS6364+, as follows:
    *16 were also L69+
    *1 was also M227+
    *1 was also S4795+
    *14 were also L22+
    *3 were also CTS10028-
    *1 was also P259+
    and
*15 may possibly fall between CTS10028 and L22. Testing of CTS10028 would likely help these people decide if they should also test between CTS10028 and L22.

In the FTDNA public database for hap. I1 are 19 persons who have tested CTS10028. Of these 8 were negative. Of the remaining 11, ten were L22+ and one was L22-. This L22- person has already tested at FullGenomes and knows his SNPs between CTS10028 and L22.

Between CTS10028 and the L22+/- split are possible branching points such as S6346 and Z9853 and maybe FGC2488 and F4092.

There is pending request to FTDNA to add Z9853 as an individual test.

"Between CTS10028 and the L22+/- split are possible branching points such as S6346 and Z9853 and maybe FGC2488 and F4092." These "possible branching points" have all been discredited.

The only recognized branching point after CTS10028 (so far) is the actual L22+/- split.

Downstream from L22- is Y13056 (as reported in YFull experimental tree 3.7 recently released).

I keep getting the message for upgrade in the yDNA group I1..but I have tested out Z382..Z159 positive and negative Z2042..and all the test look to be older than z382..so why would I take those test..also in the I1 group they have me listed Z2042 positive but I am not..but I have asked questions but get no answers..
