That means everyone that has Native American ancestry should be aware that some of it will show up as East Asian.

I was almost 100% sure something like that happened and the reason I started the thread was to make everyone aware of what is going on.

FTDNA never responded to my email on the subject.
The Native Americans came from East Asia 15,000 years ago. Isn't that right.

And, what is the current thinking/consensus on whether, or not, they came in 2 waves, the first wave dying out?

You are over simplifying the problem and you are completely ignoring two very important points.

          1. Pop Finder, Dodecad globe13, 23andme, AncestryDNA, and Eurogenes K13, and Eurogenes K36 all agree with each other within 2% for the Native American results yet myOrigins is completely different.

          2. Maya, Pima and Columbian aren't included as reference populations in myOrigins. They are included in Pop Finder, Dodecad globe13, Eurogenes K13 and Eurogenes K36 calculators. They are very likely included in AncestryDNA and 23andme.

I assume you don't have Native American ancestry and therefore you aren't able to see this change.
