3) Total 32, 3rd-none, 4th-four
4) Total 96, 3rd- seven, 4th-eleven (one 3rd is 2nd1X, one 3rd is 4th1X)
5) Total 215, 3rd-eight, 4th-thirty-two (one 4th is a 2nd cousin)
6) Total 130, 3rd-six, 4th-seventeen (one 3rd is a 2nd cousin)
7) Total 75, 3rd-three, 4th-two (one 3rd is 3rd1X)
8) Total 35, 3rd-none, 4th-one
9) Total 28, 3rd-none, 4th-four

Most of the suggested 3rds & 4th appear more distant with many too distant to determine relationship.

Interestingly cousin 2 and 3 are a male and female that share in exactly the same locations (probably either parent child or siblings?) All have at least two 5cM blocks. Would longest block and number of blocks indicate my best bets?

Most interesting. These are my suggested 3rd cousins. Most of them have greater shared cM but smaller longest block. That says something about what could be done in my case (Ashkenazic Jew) to downgrade the level of matches. I doubt that any of mine are above a fifth cousin, although one of my projected 2nd cousins is and others never responded.

Same as me.....just hold out for that 1st or 2nd cousin match, or one even closer! Someday it just has to happen as more and more people get tested.

My one and only predicted 3rd cousin match and I share 50.38 cM total, and 24.66 cM longest block, matching on 13 segments, but with no other segments 5cM or larger. So, from what I have read on this thread, my match may not actually be a 3rd cousin at all.

Out of 11 matches I have no suggested 3rd cousins. one 4th - Distant, 10- 5th - Distant. So far no matches from 23andMe transfers either.
