I see I'm now up to 332 matches; 3 new ones in Dec. This Family Finder is entertaining, but rather useless for me. I guess all those matches are just shirt-tail cousins. A couple years ago I had my (erroneous) maternal line going back to Yorkshire, before going to Jamestowne in the 1600s. The supposed surname was unusual. Now I see a man with that surname (Sedgwick) matches me, at a rather low level (chromosome #18). But I'm not going to change my tree back to where I had it because of that match.

Only one each for my dad and me; two new matches for my mom. My mother and I share one new distant cousin with German-Irish heritage.
I am patiently waiting for the FTDNA's new Population Finder results to arrive. I see where 23 and Me has readjusted the Ancestry Composition of my parents and me. Trace amounts of Native American and east Asian now show up for my dad too. Just this past week, I found a paper trail to a Micmac ancestor through his Acadian line.
I am hopeful new Population Finder results will be holiday presents for all of us who frequent this forum.
