New Matches Coming In

My match did not re-test but just joined a new group and it is possible that explains the glitch.

Another 21 matches for me, although none exceptionally close.

Closing in on 900 matches total, none closer than "suggested 3rd", none connected by paper trail. My tree is largely complete back through gg-grandparents. At some point there'll be a documented match, right?

Hmm this is odd I got 5 new matches last week. This week I have one of those matches from last week with a new date of today? I checked my old matches file and yes that match from last week was there.

Well, I received one lonely match tonight, the first in many weeks. I now have a grand total of six! But no ancestral information, either paternal or maternal, no other surnames than the the one showing there. Paternal hg. only, no maternal hg. The surname does coincide with my paternal family, but this is a remote 5th cousin.

I have one that came through last week (2/10) and is now listed not once, but twice in a row, first with a date of 1/17 and then with today's date!

Also, out of 12 new matches, only 3 are showing when I filter for "New Since..." Problems with "New Since" are nothing new, though. Having the same name repeat twice with different dates, both incorrect, is a first!

I got six. Kinda crazy. Most don't have any info at all but have my fingers crossed for some responses.

Guaranteed the second bunch of the sale kits came in today. They've been processing for a few days now. My daughter's was one of them that started processing on Tuesday and finalized today. I bought her kit on Jan 2nd or 3rd, something like that.

Nothing new for me Matt. Maybe tomorrow night.

Someone on another group I am on said they got their results tonight, and they had purchased their kit on the very last day of the FTDNA sale. So, looks like most of the sale kits are coming through now. Maybe next week, the 23andMe uploads.

I didn't notice that with the most recent batch, but a lot of dates from older matches had changed when I compared my complete lists, e.g. a record date-stamped 4/15/10 in one file was date-stamped 5/4/11 in the other file. This wasn't mission critical for me, so I didn't report it.

I got 2 matches tonight, my son got 2 different ones. My nephew got 6 different ones from ours.

23 new ones on 2/16 including a predicted second cousin bringing the grand total to 989. Next time it should reach 1000. Most, if not all, of this is entirely worthless.
