New Matches Coming In

My total, as shown on the Chromosome Finder, is now at 228 (up from 222 last time). But when I browsed down the list, it looked like 7 new ones, counting a new one from a day earlier.

I'm too shy to ever contact anyone about my matches. So this is really all for nothing. One new match has a lot of names with Swiss ancestry, many via South Carolina. That may explain why I have 2 from Switzerland in my maternal Ancestral Origins page. Another match is smack dab where my paternal line came from in Norway (Sogne Fjord).

3 new matches. 2 of them have matches in common. Went from 55 to total of 58 matches.

5 new matches for me. Now I finally have 101 matches, that is if Build 36 vs 37 or whatever is the case, is really up to snuff.

2 of my new matches I can see are related to other matches. No one so far has entered any ancestral names or places except my Russian cousin. Who has his name spelled in the Russian Cyrillic alphabet. Lucky for me he put the ancestral surname and country in English! My other matches from what I can gather are Irish(probably through my Colonial ancestry), German, Polish, and Italian.

Awesome haul! Seven new predicted 4th cousins for my maternal uncle. One of whom is a predicted 3rd to me (over sharing??) with 19cM, 17 cM and 9 cM matching segments!!!

In addition, the results came in for my known 3rd cousin. He has two matches that descend directly from my theorized 5th great grandfather, including one match from this ancestor that also matches my uncle.
