When you got your new matches did the "last matched" date on your home page change? Mine is stuck at 8/10/2012.

2 new suggested 4th cousins for my uncle's kit. None for mine. The two suggested 4ths have 20 cM matching segments with other suggested 4th cousins. Nice way to start the new year!

Or use Chromosome browser on FtDNa . Log into you account and go to FF then Chromosome browser. If on your account click on your mums name and the person you both match. Then view in a table.

I'd bet Ashkenazi Jewish. My half brother has 1670. I'm 50% and a little under 1000.

I am indeed Ashkenazi Jewish with a small documented Sephardic Jewish part and probably more if all lines could be traced back to the same point.

At Last

New and revised matches are in. I lost about 60 matches and had others downgraded. But that is more than made up with the new match from a relative of my Irish 4th cousin; another confirmation of my family origin!

Hardly worth the wait! Mom got 3 times that many during the 2011 Holiday sale.

Mom's 3rd cousin got 40 new matches.

I haven't checked to see if we lost any.

I don't think all the matches have loaded. My mother has not appeared on my list although I am on hers. My grandfather had not yet appeared on my list or his daughters.

Our numbers really went down!

Dad's total went from 13 to 10.
Mine went from 82 to 74.
My cousin's from 63 to 42.
Mom's from 127 to 124.
Her 3rd cousin from 456 to 373.

Mom's changed least and she still has all those predicted 3rd cousins I can't account for! I thought they would probably become more distant with the new build.

I don't see anything interesting about the new matches at first glance.

Interestingly, not one of my new matches (Feb) have gedcoms attached to them. Checked my other kits that I administer and none of those new matches have gedcoms. 2 pages each of new matches, and nobody uploaded a gedcome? All the old ones that had gedcoms still have them. It's just the new matches from this batch don't have any. Anybody else have any matches from this batch that have attached gedcoms?
