New Matches Coming In

I seem to have missed out on the latest batch of matches. But the ones I already have, the ones who give out surnames, let me know I am on the right general path.

Maternal grandmother: 1 match
Maternal grandfather: 0 matches
Paternal grandmother: 1 match
Paternal grandfather: 6 matches including a predicted 2nd cousin who, after some research, is a 2nd cousin 1x removed!!

3 matches for me this time. No close matches, haven't had that yet. No gedcoms or ancestral places listed. Oh well, at least I have some new ones, maybe they will add some information soon.

New Matches Coming In

I have three new FF matches as of 12/16 but new home page indicates last update 8/10. Sent error repost.

3 for each of my kits also, as well as FF results for my kits 1st cousin.

1st Cousin shows a match to closest ydna match as 5th to Remote with shared cm36.77, longest block 8.36

Comparing Gedcoms and emails we know common ancestor was 5 or more generations back. Still undetermined but at least it now shows connection between 2 lines other then yDNA. Hopefully it is through this paternal line which will allows us to go a little farther back.....

One of my 4 accounts got 2 new matches. Zero for the other 3, unless they haven't finished uploading.

26 new ones including a predicted 2nd cousin. Also a predicted 4th cousin who is known to be a 5th cousin. That might be the most accurate prediction that I have.

Now up to 1696 in total.

Matches

Lot of Results must be coming in because I am now getting results every 2 weeks! Have 6 kits and everyone got matches 3 kits got 3 matches each my daughter and I got 5 matches each and son-in-law got 4. I am finding now my kids are getting matches that neither my husband or I are getting. I cannot distinguish which side they are on at times so it is becoming a challenge. I also have not gotten any matches that might favor my unknown fathers side either. Wish more Mediterranean, Italians, Greeks or whatever else is in that area would test because that is where a good 50% of my DNA is pointing too!

Three new matches for me. One is known to me, his mother and my great grandmother were sisters. I think this makes us second cousins once removed? Anyway here is how FTDNA reads us: relationship range 2-3 cousin, suggested relationship 2nd cousin. Shared cm 201.03, and longest block 50.67. Awesome! My other two are Jewish, and SURPRISE! They match me on my chromosome 7 .

First cousins twice removed unless you meant to write grandmother instead of mother.
