  • Trying to understand some results

    Hi,

After a long time of not making any progress with the DNA, I decided to write my own enhanced Chromosome browser.
Because I'm Ashkenazi, I programmed it under the assumption of relation through multiple lines.
The program load the data and cluster it with more than one cluster per match.

Here is what it looks like:gui_fig.jpg

If for example I show the top 5 results of the above cluster into the FTDNA chromosome browser I get: chromo1.jpg

My question is what is the meaning of it? how can i use this tool to gain better understanding of my results?

    Thanks
    Oshri

I don't know, Oshri, but for example I match you and S. N. on the same blocks of chromosome 13 and 18 for the same lengths (from my perspective), and that 9.34 cM block on chromosome 13 has the same start and stop points with 6 additional people. This is too tricky as you and I have no surnames or towns in common.
