Just for fun I'll post mine maybe learn something. I have not done 2.0 either yet but plan to. I have tested my Autosomal DNA at FTDNA, 23andme, and Ancestry.

FTDNA has me 53% British Isles; 45% Western and Central European; 1% Central/South Asia.

23andme has me 67% British Irish; 6.2% Scandinavian; 5.4% French & German; 18.5% Broadly Northern European; 0.6% Eastern European; 0.3% Sardinian; 0.3% Broadly Southern European; 1% Ashkenazi; 0.8% Broadly European; 1% Unassigned.

Ancestry has me 50% Ireland; 19% Great Britain; 10% Europe West; 10% Scandinavian; 8% Iberian Peninsula; 2% Italy Greece; 1% Finland North West Russia.

Family Lore; British, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Cherokee.

My research finds British, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, French, German, Cherokee, Shawnee, and some other possible native American connection.

Note: Out of the 18 surnames in my first five generation it appears 10 are English, 2 are Scottish, 3 are Welsh, 1 Irish, 1 German, 1 French. Some could be from other origins besides what it appears to me but since speculating want help here I wont.

In the rest of the tree my research seems to point to there being more of a Scottish connection than the rest. followed by English, Welsh, French, German, Irish, and Native American.

        Population
        Southwest_Asian 9.28%..........FTDNA has me 1% Central Asia
        Native_American 0.53%..........My closest N/A connection is 5
        generation ago and mixed and
probably why I have a low
        amount of NA DNA.
        Northeast_Asian -
        Mediterranean 16.59%.........Ancestry 1% Italy Greece
North_European 69.95%.........The DNA test and Research seem
        agree with this.
Southeast_Asian 1.96%..........At one time East Asian was a
        possible sign of native
        American could this be that?
Oceanian 0.38%..........I have Autosomal and Y DNA
        matches from this part of
        world but my guess its
        European DNA nothing else.
        South_African 0.25%..........Shaka Zulo I have some doubts.
        Sub-Saharan_African 1.07%..I just don't know.

                      Mine is...

                      Native American - 1.61%
                      Northeast Asian - 20.64%
                      North European - 1.82%
                      Southeast Asian - 68.36%
                      Oceanian - 6.46%
                      South African - 0.96%
                      Sub-Saharan African - 0.14%

However, in many admixture tests where there is more population references being used my small European percentage usually disappears. What remains more often is less than 1% Mediterranean / West Med component. But my African component is consistent at usually more than 1%.

It is said that we have a European ancestor who came in the country during colonial times perhaps 200 years ago, however, I cannot explain the consistent African component. Why is this so? And also for Native American?

That that just means you have native American and African ancestors somewhere down the line you just don't know about. A lot of Irish mixed in with black people and a lot of Spanish forcibly mixed in with the natives. So I think it has to be within the last 6 or 7 generations since you are about 1%...

Yes, that's more or less the number of generations we are looking at. We only knew of our paternal great-great grandfather who was said to be a grandson of a Spanish friar from one of the local women he sired. That Spanish ancestor could have been mixed blood with Native American and perhaps African.

After testing with Ancestry and transferring my data to FTDNA, and then playing with several of the Gedmatch admixture calculators, I'm incredibly confused with the different results. What is most accurate? How do I interpret this stuff?

                            Ancestry - Great Britain 67%, Europe East 10%, Europe West 8%, Scandinavia 7%, Italy/Greece 4%, Finland/Northwest Russia 3%, Ireland >1%
FTDNA - Scandinavia 39%, British Isles 31%, Southern Europe 20%, Eastern Europe 7%, Central Asia 3%

As far as I know, my family is German/Czech/English for the most part, though I've always been told that the Czech side of the family is too dark featured to be Czech, and I've been asked if I'm Armenian, Bosnian, Romanian, half-Lebanese, all sorts of ethnicities other than what I understand our family to be.

                              Oceanian = 0.39%
