Recently received Y-DNA between two males with similar surnames. Same haplogroup and matched 23 of 25 markers, but only 32 of 37 markers. (all markers are the more rapidly changing markers) I have tested 67 markers for tester one. Would it tell me anything further if I tested additional markers OR should I look at an individual SNP test???? At 67 tester one is R-BY3214. At 37 tester two is R-M269. If related, I would think that we shared a common ancestry somewhere around the early 1700s. Would further testing of this match be worth while?
Thank you
