Can you download your Y67 results to Gedmatch or My Heritage?

  • #2
No, but at Gedmatch you can enter your haplogroup manually via editing kits info.
Gedmatch does not use yDNA info, other then displaying user entered haplogroup.
YDNA67 info is STR values (Short Tandem Repeats), gedmatch only use yDNA SNP (Single nucleotide polymorphisms) data for haplogroup determination, if it is not entered manually.

Maybe not downloading but you can connect your data with [GENI]
Not sure it will help you, since your matches will very likely already be inside FTDNA anyhow.

Yes. Thank you unknown distant relatives who have done so! especially as I have no near biologically connected males to test. It's wonderful fun to see Y-DNA haplogroups show up for great-grandfathers. Boringly European, and there might have been some divergence from the straight and narrow which would make them wrong - but hey, I'm grateful. And I hope my mtDNA, as it propagated through the entries, gave other stray relatives equal surprise. I don't know what occurs if there is a conflict, haven't seen it happen.
