111 test. Now what?

I have done the 111 marker test and am now:
R1b1a2a1a1b4g P312+ L21+ L193+ DF13+ U152- SRY2627- P66- M65- M37- M222- M153-

What further test would anybody recommend to narrow this down even further?

Hi Mavityre,

As you mention your SNPs, I assume you're thinking of further testing of SNPs. There are currently five major SNPs under DF13. They are DF49, Z253, Z255, L513 and DF21. I suggest you join the R-L21 FTDNA project and ask for suggestions in the R-L21 Yahoo! group, providing your kit number. Some of the experts there might be able to help.

If SNP advice isn't what you're looking for, please let us know what your goal with Y-DNA testing is.

Have you added yourself to the R-P312 project:

It has a number of kits similar to yours.

The project administrators may have some useful suggestions for further testing.

Well, you have 111 str markers and you are three steps downstream (DF13+, L513+, L193+) from L21 on your SNP testing, so I would say you are pretty well "tested up" when it comes to y-dna. (I included L513 because, even though you didn't test for L513 directly, you are L513+ because you are L193+: L193 is downstream of L513.)

You'll have to wait for some new developments on the y-dna front.

Maybe it's time to hit mtDNA or the Family Finder test, if you haven't already.
