  • Y test forsaken for Family Finder?

It's ages since I had even a 12 marker match whereas before FF I regularly got Y matches. I get FF matches regularly now.

My rate of getting matches has dropped precipitously too, although not quite as much. It's really a shame. There's a lot of great new information coming out of the WTY tests.

Family finder is an autosomal test meaning it looks at the 22 pairs of chromosomes. The y test looks at the 23rd pair of sex chromsones in the male. So no, not that I'm aware of.
