    Y-search upload problems

For the past day or so, I've been trying to upload my results to Y-search and create a new profile but Y-search seems to be having technical problems.

    Strange.
Well, you can either wait for the problem to pass or maybe you fill in your DYS values by hand, if that works.

maybe the problem is browser dependant? I updated may full 67 just a few hours ago. And I am using Firefox.

Well, as I'm a newbie here I may be doing something wrong in the way I'm trying to enter things. I'm using Safari.

It should work with Safari, Thats what I use.

I haven't uploaded to Ysearch on my Mac but I've seen it done.

Okay, thank you. I was probably doing something wrong from my end. I'll have another go at it later on today.

Still unable to enter my data on Ysearch. I receive the following error message:

Microsoft SQL Native Client error '80040e57'

String or binary data would be truncated.

            /add_newrecord.asp, line 64

Russell, why don't you report the error directly to FTDNA so the IT staff can look at it. Looks like a problem with FTDNA or Ysearch, not your own computer. Another person reported a problem creating a new account on one of the other discussion boards as well.
