    Ancestry.com doesn't have correct # for J2

Maybe I'm missing something, but when trying to log my J2 results onto ancestry, they are missing or adding results that I need for a 12 marker match. Genographic test shows DSY19 of which I'm 16 but Ancestry has a drop down showing DSY19a and DSY19b. Also, DSY389-2 I'm 16 according to Genographic but Ancestry doesn't even have that option. What to do????
    My markers are:
    393 12
    19 16
    391 10
    439 14
    389-1 12
    389-2 16
    388 15
    390 24
    426 11
    385a 10
    385b 19
    392 11

I think what you need to do for DSY19 is enter your value of 16 for DYS19a, and leave DYS19b as null (no entry).

Regarding DYS389-2, I'm guessing that the result you were given is actually DYS389B, not DYS389II. If that's the case, then you'd need to add your DYS389I to it, and the sum will be the number you'd enter into the DYS389II box at Ancestry.

It's confusing I know, but this page might help clarify how it works:

The Y-chromosome is passed down almost unchanged from father to son. Males with a common parental ancestor will have almost identical DNA.

        Your haplotype (ftdna format)
        12-24-16-10-10-19-11-15-14-12-11-28

belongs to J2b (maybe J2b2 subclade) haplogroup.

I agree,.. and it also looks like a J2b-Zita cluster haplotype as well
