    I believe the samples were destroyed when the RG to Acom transfer happened. If not, they certainly were when Acom discontinued Y testing. So, you are limited to the $19 deal which does not include matching or haplogroups. Sorry, no further testing.

    Transferring DNA and/or results?

    We had my father-in-law's DNA tested back in 2006, a Y-test from Relative Genetics. That company has been acquired by Ancestry who has shut down their Y-database.

    My father-in-law has since passed away, so getting a new DNA sample would be difficult.

    Is there to transfer his results over to Family Tree DNA? Any way to get his actual DNA transferred, so we can do other tests on it?
