Thinking of joining a haplogroup project but not sure which is the correct one. Confirmed haplogroup is R-L48. Could somebody please give me a bit of advice as there appear to be several projects in the R haplogroup.

R-L48 makes you eligible to join the U106 project:

L48 defines the main subclade of R1b-U106. Please submit a join request to the R1b-U106 Project at http://www.familytreedna.com/public/u106/ You'll be asked for some information on your paternal line. With an L48+ result, you will be approved as a member.
