    Batch 1091 delayed...
Big Y-700 Y700 1091 08/10/2020 - 08/24/2020 Results for your Big Y test have been delayed. We have updated your predicted completion date, and action by you is not usually required. Note that predicted dates are an estimate and subject to lab volume and quality control.
I understand that this is automated and basically meaningless - it will just keep adding two weeks on to the estimate until it is complete.

According to this page https://learn.familytreedna.com/test...-results-take/, Big Y is currently taking 10 - 12 weeks. I am at 10 weeks as of today. So here's hoping it's sooner rather than later.

Gentlemen, was it my way when I took the sample from the mouth properly? I rubbed the oud in the cheek for two minutes, then put it directly into the flask. Is that correct?

Someone told me that after rubbing the oud in the cheek, he left half an hour and then inserted it into the vial. What is correct?

My results placed me in a R1b>>DF27 subclade called R-Y31379 and placed me with two other people in my surname project. We have 30 shared private variants (including 3 no-calls with low fidelity) and I have 3 novel private variants. The two other people in R-Y31379 have 5 and 7 novel private variants. Our terminal haplotype should be split in a few days/weeks given the 30 shared private variants.,
As a follow-up, about 4 days later than results, we created a new branch now is called "R-Z35110", and we ended up with an average of 4 novel private variants (~1688). My MRCA came to the American continent around 1620s from the Iberian peninsula. It now also shows in the Ynet of Alex Williamson.
