My Big Y results came in yesterday. They were in batch 996.

My Big Y results were Ordered August 30, 2019, Batched September 2, 2019, Batch 999 and results came in November 1, 2019.

Where do you find the batch number. My order was Sept 3. It used to say data was being analyzed. Now that went away and just says ordered Sept 3.

My Y-700 test is in batch 961 and like many of you have had my results date pushed back multiple times. It just pushed out again yesterday for another 2 weeks to

. However, while I wait, I still click around on the site to see what is new. I had previously tested to 111 and went to my Y-DNA matches and lo and behold, the "BIG Y DNA STR Differences" Column has POPULATED! I see that I have a match at 111 with another man at a GD of 5. The Big Y Differences column now shows 4 of 412 for that match. I have no other Big Y results posted.....but I see this as forward progress! If I have a piece of the results, I am hoping the rest will follow shortly! Hopefully, this is light at the end of the tunnel...it has been one long, hot, summer!

I was in batch 961 too. 11/08/2019 completed. My big-y ftdna from one sample passed up to the third attempt.

My Big Y700 is in batch 1022, dated 11/11/2019. Received Y111 results 12/03/2019. Results for Y112-later are listed as "Awaiting Lab Results", with results estimated ready 02/03/2020 - 02/17/2020.

For those keeping tabs on what I've recently opined, yes, I did indeed go ahead and order this test, in spite of what I previously said. I found out there were apparently three unused vials left for the tester, two of them in storage.

Tenn4ever, that shows a difference of 2 batches within 2 days, between your order and mine. FTDNA must be getting a lot of Big Y orders from this sale! I've forgotten how many vials per batch there are (if I ever knew).

Yes, I would say they are coming in fast and furious I have nine male kits but am only taking a chance on this one. Of his 7 matches on his Y111 five have already taken the test so I'm hoping this test will help narrow down which line. The five all have the same terminal snp. According to the project admin if any of the five have a non-variant snp which my male relative matches then that could help me narrow down my line.
