  • Big-Y SNPs testable at FTDNA

Since FTDNA is now labeling newly discovered SNPs from the Big-Y results that are requested to be made testable as BY---, is there anywhere that we can find the ChrY location and mutation of the BY--- labeled SNPs or for any of the advanced order SNPs?

Currently there are 9 BY--- labeled SNPs in the advanced order list but without more information about them we know nothing about them.

You will find all of those in the Big-Y files in the U106 Group at Yahoo.

But my question is, what is the ChrY location and mutation for BY111, BY9, BY23, BY24. Nothing I have found at the U106 group references these labels. These are labels as assigned by FTDNA.

It appears that FTDNA is posting the names and locations to ybrowse so they can be looked up at http://ybrowse.isogg.org.
